Jennifer emails: “We found a lovely tuxedo cat near our house and I think she’s a lost house kitty. Attached are photos.”

In an separate email she said: “She has no collar, but she seems healthy and well-fed and we think she’s missing her family . We’d love to keep this sweet purring machine but I’m allergic to cats.”

  1. 99% sure this is one of the two cats that lives on 86th between 5th and 8th. If so, she’s entirely an outdoor cat and has never had a collar that I’ve seen.

  2. If you have lost a pet–or found one–please at least give an approximate address. Even a cat who walks by himself needs help sometime. You might try calling Friends of Campus Cats, the local rescue group, at 5247326.

  3. Wow – there are pussy cats on the loose all over Maple Leaf these days.
