Katelyn emails: “We just moved into the Maple Leaf neighborhood a month ago, and our little cat, Leela, has gone missing. A neighbor told us to post on the Maple Leaf blog that she has been gone for three days, and to call us if anyone has seen her.”

They live at Northeast 95th Street and 12th Avenue Northeast. If you see Leela, post a comment here. We have the contact numbers.

  1. I once heard an animal behaviorist on the radio and she said cats are usually within 100 yards of your house. We live on 96th and 12th. We will keep an eye out for Leela!

  2. I saw a cat that looks like the photo. This cat had a collar, and looked bewildered in the middle of the street, on 104th just West of 15th ave.

  3. My husband thinks he may have seen her on the corner of 12th and 104th this afternoon. A guy was petting her. May want to ask the people who live on the corner.

  4. My folks live near 97th and 12th and recently mentioned having a stray cat wander up to their front door. I’ll see if they recognize this photo and tell them to be on the lookout in case they see her soon!

  5. When we moved about 4 blocks from our old house to our new house, our cat went missing. We found her the next day at our old house. Not sure how far you moved from, so it may not be possible, but just thought I’d throw that out there. I never would have thought our cat could find her way back to our old house until someone suggested looking there. Crafty little buggers they are. Hope you find her and I’ll keep a look out on my walks.
