Got (very fresh) fish?

Here’s a different take on mobile food vendors. This sandwich board popped up outside the Northgate Branch of The Seattle Public Library.

Call the number (206-321-9965 – the rain and reflections have blurred it) and Captain Ole Oksvold will offer to deliver  fresh salmon.

We streamline the entire process and bring the fish directly to you. We are able to bypass the large factory processors, distribution centers and the lengthy channels of getting product to our customers, local restaurants and supermarkets.

Flash-frozen salmon fillets run about $11 a pound. Whole fish and smoked salmon are also available. Captain Ole charges $5 for delivery.
