This week’s street food vendor schedule is nearly packed, so you have plenty of options to choose from if you’re thinking about lunching near the Washington Dental Building, 9706 Fourth Ave.
Monday: The fun starts today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with Fusion on the Run, which offers such unique combinations as the Coco Chicken taco with coconut lemongrass chicken, curry cream and coleslaw; the Ono Sandwich (pictured at right) with Kalua pork, grilled pineapple, coleslaw and surfer sauce on a brioche roll; and Mac and Cheese made with four types of cheese, pineapple and jalapeno.
Tuesday: Also from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Got Soup? will keep you warm with Shrimp Etouffee; Coconut Curry with Chicken and Brown Rice; and two vegan options: Roasted Carrot with Green Curry; and Corn and Shiitake. Soup ingredients can be viewed here.
Thursday: Hot Cakes Confections returns from noon to 2 p.m. with its gourmet desserts and take-and-bake cakes.
Friday: Buns on Wheels brings us its gourmet natural burgers stops from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
