Halloween is more than a month away, but Fine Impressions Gallery is already preparing for the autumn months, announcing a visit from artist Sam Hamrick, whose linocut “Trumpet Player” is shown at right.
The Maple Leaf gallery, located at 8300 Fifth Ave. N.E., will be featuring works from Hamrick and other work related to fall, Halloween and Day of the Dead in October, with Hamrick’s visit planned from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 16. You’re invited to stop by to meet and talk with him, and also learn about his work as he will be bringing samples of his linocut blocks to show his process.
