The Dodgers, Pirates, Cubs and Orioles are in the playoffs this week at Ballfield No. 2 at the Maple Leaf Park.
Those are teams in the RUG – Roosevelt, University, Green Lake – Little League. By week’s end, there should be a winner.
Thursday from 6-8 p.m. is the Majors Division Championship Game, a family affair for the entire league. Sean Curran – who has 11-year-old twins on the Pirates, “plus I love baseball” – e-mails to say it’s “a slice of Americana.”
