June 23rd, 2017 by Mike

Amy emails this morning:

Can you please post on the blog that these two dogs were spotted roaming Northeast 96th Street this morning at 8:10 a.m. between 15th Avenue Northeast & 12th Avenue Northeast, heading west?

No collar on small dog; red collar on larger dog but no tag.

Friendly & approached for pets when called by female in a chipper voice. Little dog is a talker; big dog looks hungry/skinny & has some fur missing from back side.

Hope they have a home.

November 28th, 2016 by Mike

Update: Same dog, home now.

Karri emails this morning:

“‘Hercules’ ran out of the house this morning from 9212 8th Ave. N.E. He has a serious medical condition and needs medication twice a day.

If you see him, he likely will come for food and any food is OK to feed him.

Please call Dave at 206 854 3052 if you see or have him. Thank you!

And over at Nextdoor Northgate/Maple Leaf Sarah writes:

“While walking my own dog this morning, I found a tagless shivering pom/chihuahua mix (I think) running in the street at Northeast  94th Street and Eighth Avenue Northeast.

“I took him to the local vet and they found no microchip. I’ve posted on craigslist, knocked on doors, and walked around near where I found him. Anyone know this doggy?”

Missing black lab Maya

July 27th, 2016 by Mike

Update: Maya is home.

Tori emails:

“Her name is Maya, she is a 6-month-old, medium (30 lbs), black labradoodle. She jumped the fence at Grandma’s house near Sacajawea Playground Northeast 94th Street and 17th Avenue Northeast in the Maple Leaf neighborhood of Seattle at 10 a.m. (Tuesday).

“She was wearing a red harness but does not have tags or a microchip.

Lost cat…named Puppyface

July 18th, 2016 by Mike

Bre emails:

We’ve lost a calico cat! Left our yard on Northeast 80th Street heading toward Brooklyn Ave Northeast Friday 7/14 a.m. and hasn’t come home.

She’s fairly shy and dopey, very sweet and loving and not very street-wise. Her name is Puppyface and she has a collar with a tag and microchip. We’re worried she is stuck in a garage or shed or new house construction somewhere probably south of the park but maybe she got adventurous (or turned around) and went north?

Contact information if seen/found: Bre Holt, 206-499-9003.

Found dog on 12th NE overnight

April 2nd, 2016 by Mike

Matthew emails:

This evening I found this sweet, shy dog strolling along 12th Ave NE between NE 98th and NE 100th St. She has a collar but no tags.

After spending 90 minutes trying to find her home or someone looking for a lost dog in the neighborhood, I brought her to the emergency hospital on Lake City Way. Sadly she does not have a chip so we do not know where her home is.

Perhaps one of your readers will recognize her and we can reunite her with her people. We will keep her overnight but will need to bring her to a shelter if her people don’t come forward.
