Lost: Chicken. Found: cell phone, Mazda keys

November 23rd, 2015 by Mike

Sharon emails: “Missing chicken: We are missing a brown and gold Americana hen. If you see her please call: 206-992-4383. Thanks! We live on the corner of 12th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 98th Street.”

Another neighbor emails: “We found a phone in the lower area of Maple Leaf Park on Sunday night around 5:30 p.m.”

The battery is dead, so if somebody’s missing it let us know.

Finally, a set of keys to a recent-model Mazda was found this morning at the north entrance to Maple Leaf Reservoir Park.

Missing Rhode Island Red chicken Emma is missing

October 10th, 2011 by Mike

Maureen writes:

“One of our chickens has gone missing from North East 97th Street. Her name is “Emma” and she’s a young Rhode Island Red hen. We have a fenced yard and there doesn’t seem to be any sign of chicken attack so we think she may have flown over the fence. If you could post something to the blog we’d be very, very¬† appreciative.”
The home is near 8th Avenue Northeast. You can reach Maureen and Khris at 206-526-7103
