Stolen cars and other property crimes

August 31st, 2017 by Mike

Eric emails this morning:

“Not sure if it’s helpful for the site as a word of warning, but I live in the Victory Heights area and had my 98 Subaru Outback stolen this morning/last night. I tried reaching our local blog victoryheightsblog but couldn’t find a contact.
Hopefully there won’t be a rash of these and just for people to check their own cars.”

This is a map of “property crimes,” including stolen and prowled cars, in the last week or so. We’d say more, but the Seattle Police Department has “upgraded” its crime reports map, and it’s harder to use.
