Northwest Hospital (1550 N. 115th St.) is showing off its new, multi-million dollar upgrade to the surgical facilities during a public open house on Saturday. The two-year, $27.8 million upgrade includes new, larger pre-op beds that are separated by walls instead of curtains. The entire surgical area is filled with natural light for the patients.
