Even as Math ’n’ Stuff draws up its plans to bring new life into the former Napa Sherry Auto Supply store, other nearby businesses aren’t faring so well.
On Feb. 1, the local branch of Premier Chiropractic, located at 9622 Roosevelt Way N.E., was forced to close its doors because of the economy, said Dana Verghetti , the company’s administrator.
“We are referring patients to our other clinics that aren’t as close as we’d like them to be,” she added, asking clients to call 878-8888 to make an appointment at one of their other clinics in Redmond, West Seattle or Bellevue.
But despite the poor economy, the owner of the building, Charlie Campbell is upbeat about finding a new tenant.
“I’ve been fortunate up to the point that the chiropractor moved out,” he said, adding the Premier had been in the location for three or four years.
The 1,260-square-foot space that Campbell says would be ideal for another office costs $1,650 a month, and he is asking for a three-year lease.
For more information on leasing the space, call Campbell at 528-1973.
