Want to learn more about the closure of the 15th Avenue bridge over Thornton Creek? It’ll be among topics discussed tonight at the monthly Maple Leaf Community Council Executive Board meeting.
Although the exact date the bridge will be closed hasn’t yet been announced, it’s expected to start sometime in March and remain closed for the remainder of the year as the Seattle Department of Transportation works to strengthen it from wear and tear.
Other topics on the agenda include the upcoming Maple Leaf Summer Social and the 2010 council budget, as well committee updates from the council’s Business Committee, Community Garden, Communications/Website, Land Use & Transportation, Membership & Membership Drive, Nest/Feet First, North District Council, North Precinct Public Safety, Seattle Community Council Federation and Upper Maple Leaf Park.
The meeting is at 7 p.m. at Olympic View Church, 425 N.E. 95th St.
