Two emails over the weekend:
Friends of Campus Cats has scooped up a friendly cat who seems too hungry and eager for company to be a roving pet. Adult female, grey domestic shorthair w/white paws.
She has been hanging around Northeast Eighth Street and 100th Avenue Northeast for at least a month, risking life and limb in the street. She is microchipped, but the number is untraceable. Please leave a message at 206-442-2051 if you think she is your cat or if you have any tips for us.
And Laurel emails:
This beautiful but timid kitty has been hanging out in the parking lot of Northeast 91st Street and Roosevelt Way Northeast. Was obviously once loved and cared for (nice coat, well groomed). I tried to get “her” into a cat carrier to take to the local vet to see if she was chipped, but failed.
PLEASE spread the word…this is not a breed that can survive outdoors!
Was this kitty caught and returned to owner?
There are many local shelters who can assist with capturing this cat and scanning it.
