“Everybody is ready to hate their computer at some point,” said Eric Nordling, owner and general manager of the store at Lake City Way Northeast and 15th Avenue Northeast.
Although the store is eight years old, Nordling and his wife have only owned it for one year. Hence the birthday bash.
The Subway across the street is providing the food – soda, chips, coffee and sandwiches – and the computer store the rest, including safety glasses.
“We’ll also do free computer recycling,” Nordling said. “Or, tell people they can bring in their own old computer and bash it.”
The smash runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 17.
