16-year-old accused 'F-Bomb Bandit' released to her parents

The 16-year-old girl charged with robbing four banks or credit unions in just seven weeks pleaded innocent today and was released to her parents on $20,000 bail and ordered to go back to school, KOMO-TV is reporting.

Shennell J. Kennebrew has been charged with robberies here and in Renton, Kent and West Seattle, according to court papers. She is believed in February to have robbed a credit union inside the QFC at Roosevelt Way Northeast and Northgate Way, the documents state.

The robber, knows as the “F-Bomb Bandit” for use of profanity in notes to bank tellers, told police her older boyfriend talked her into the robberies, according to court documents. He and two others are also charged with first-degree robbery.
