It’s not in Maple Leaf, but to the northwest of us a man was hospitalized this morning after being assaulted by up to five other men, according to police.
It happened about 12: 50 a.m. in the 14300 block of Stone Avenue North. According to witnesses, the 41-year-old victim was sitting in a parked car when a second car, possibly a gold Chevrolet Lumina, pulled up.
Police say the five men got out of the Chevy and began smashing the victim’s windshield, headlights and window, possibly using a piece of metal rebar. The victim was hit in the head, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
The investigation continues.
