Join the Emerald City Women’s Chorus for its fall session after a successful first year making delightful music together The Emerald City Women’s Chorus, a non-audition chorus in north Seattle, is gearing up for its second year. The chorus extends an invitation to women of all ages and all voice parts to join this fun and supportive community of 40 singers who love to sing for the joy of it.
Kicking off the Fall session is a social gathering on Saturday, September 22 at 3:00 p.m. at a member’s home in Lake Forest Park. This is an opportunity for you to meet chorus members and their director, find out what makes this chorus special, and learn about their plans for the upcoming choral year. Rehearsals for the 10-week Fall session start on Monday, September 24. Prospective members are encouraged to attend a rehearsal at no cost to experience the chorus in action – please arrive around 7:00 p.m. to your first rehearsal. The chorus rehearses at the Wedgwood Community Church (8201 30th Avenue NE, Seattle – lower level) on Monday nights, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Fall session culminates with an afternoon community concert on Sunday, December 2 at Music Center of the Northwest (901 N 96th Street, Seattle). Cost is $117 for the session and includes music for the singer to keep.
