M.L. emails overnight:
This (Saturday) morning just before dawn I found car and house keys next to Mojito’s restaurant near Safeway (at Roosevelt Way Northeast and Northeast 75th Street).
Easy to tell which car but impossible to tell which house. I will post a sign near there later today. Could you also post a notice on your blog, please for the owner to identify and come forward? Thank you!
In addition, an orange Nike sports shoe wound up in the front yard at Maple Leaf Life South, off 12th Avenue Northeast, on Thursday morning.
It’s conceivably related to the armed robbery Wednesday night of a 14-year-old boy at Roosevelt and Northeast 85th Street. The robbers, according to police, took a backpack but most of its contents were “strewn along the sidewalk from the scene to where the robbers were found.”
It’s okay! I noticed the law school sticker on the car and smiled!Together we can prove people in the legal profession can be honest!!!! The keys will be safely returned tomorrow.
Those are our keys! Please contact me! Thank you so much for your honesty!!!!! Rossamkraut@me.com
A matching soccer cleat is at the side entrance (on 88th) of the apartments at 8804 Roosevelt Way NE.
MLL: You’re right. We picked it up.
