The Dodgers, Pirates, Cubs and Orioles are in the playoffs this week at Ballfield No. 2 at the Maple Leaf Park.
Those are teams in the RUG - Roosevelt, University, Green Lake - Little League. By week’s end, there should be a winner.
Thursday from 6-8 p.m. is the Majors Division Championship Game, a family affair for the entire league. Sean Curran - who has 11-year-old twins on the Pirates, “plus I love baseball” - e-mails to say it’s “a slice of Americana.”
