Here are two new pieces of information about the park that will be build atop the Maple Leaf Reservoir.
There are now videos of last week’s meeting on the Reservoir Park posted on the Maple Leaf Community Council’s website. If you missed the meeting but want to see for yourself how it went, take a look.
Also, Seattle’s Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs has selected an artist from Colorado to create art for the new park. He is Patrick Marold, who does outdoor sculptures. The city says:
Marold creates sculptures that invite viewers to observe spatial relationships and explore natural elements in the surrounding landscape. He has completed public commissions for the Denver Zoo and the Idyllwild Arts Academy in California. His Windmill Project was recognized by Americans for the Arts in its 2007 Year in Review.
