Looks like you can get a heckuva lot more than free tacos on Tax Day.
As part of its Tax Day Bites promotion, Cinnabon is giving away two bite-size cupcakes per person from 6-8 p.m. tomorrow. But the company also has a $100 gift card it would like to award to the winner of its “Tax Day Bites! Essay Contest.” All you have to do is fill out this form and in 500 words or less: “Tell us why your life needs Cinnabon frosting.”
Starbucks also is offering a free brewed coffee if you bring in a reusable travel mug tomorrow, although that promotion has more to do with the company’s global project to be more green and cut back on paper use.
But IHOP has the best deal yet. Every day in April, kids can eat free from 4-10 p.m. to help you really take the bite out of taxes. The nearest IHOP is at 10002 Aurora Ave. N. in Oak Tree Village.
