Do you have a closetful of old books, toys or other gadgets that you’ve been collecting for a garage sale that never seems to happen?
Look no further than next weekend’s Northgate Flea Market, an annual event that offers area residents the chance to buy and sell their belongings while brushing shoulders with their neighbors.
“It’s kind of a fun thing to do,” said Angie Anderson, recreation attendant at the Northgate Community Center. “It’s real low key. It’s cheap.”
You can “rent” a table to lay your stuff on for $20, and it’s $10 for a second table.
And this is no adults-only flea market. Kids also are invited to stack their belongings on a table to sell.
The Northgate Flea Market will take place Saturday, Feb. 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you don’t have anything to sell, you’re still invited to stop by and browse the aisles.
To reserve a table, you can fill out the paperwork at the community center, 10510 Fifth Ave. N.E., or call Anderson at 386-4283, and she can get you set up over the phone.
Awesome! Thanks for letting me know about this!
