Most Seattle Parks and Recreation workers will be getting an extra-long holiday weekend, albeit not entirely paid because of citywide furloughs throughout the year. High traffic continues on the detour route around the 15th Avenue Northeast bridge closure, and apparently the police are aware of the problem.
