The National Weather Service in Seattle this afternoon issued a special weather statement:
Wet and wetter.
By Wednesday night:
STRONG WINDS ARE POSSIBLE OVER PORTIONS OF WESTERN WASHINGTON WEDNESDAY NIGHT. A STRONG FRONT AND LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS LIKELY TO AFFECT THE REGION. HEAVY RAIN IS POSSIBLE FOR THE OLYMPIC MOUNTAINS AND A MIX OF SNOW AND RAIN WILL FALL IN THE CASCADE PASSES. THE MOST LIKELY AREA FOR STRONG WINDS IS THE COAST AND THE NORTH INTERIOR AND STRONG WINDS COULD CONTINUE INTO THURSDAY MORNING.
