This weekend’s expanded Northgate Festival looks like it will enjoy the best weather of the week.
The festival runs from 11 a.m to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, and the forecast is for partly sunny skies and 64 degrees. Rain returns as the festival closes down.
This year’s festival, featuring a street fair which will close a portion of 103rd Avenue Northeast just south of Northgate Mall, has expanded into the plaza at Thornton Place.
