Here’s a photo report on Wednesday evening’s Maple Leaf Summer Social by Dane Doerflinger, a Maple Leaf resident, photographer and wilderness guide.
The fire truck is always a kid favorite. “I have to get the photo while the light is right,” Dane said.
Music, by the marimba band Tumbuka, was sponsored by Maple Leaf Life.
The social is often called the Ice Cream Summer Social.
And the line to the ice cream can be long.
The Dog Oasis provided treats for canines, and Math ‘n’ Stuff games for kids.
