These crimes are not as gripping as the three robberies we reported on Tuesday, but each of them definitely affects one or more of our neighbors.
* A home in the 800 block of Northeast 78th Street was burglarized Monday, July 19, about 8:30 in the morning.
* Two cars were broken into Monday, July19. One happened shortly after midnight in the 2300 block of Northeast 103rd Street. The other occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 9000 block of 17th Avenue Northeast.
* Burglars forced their way into a home in the 9800 block of Fifth Avenue Northeast on Friday, July 16, around 6 p.m.
* A car was prowled and contents taken in the 2100 block of Northeast 100th Street on Wednesday, July 14, during the afternoon.
There have been two car prowls in the past month on 98th as well (allegedly reported to police but not showing up anywhere).
