An elderly man died overnight at Green Lake. Our new partners at The Seattle Times report his body was found in the lake this morning. Here’s the Times’ report:

A 70-year-old man died early Tuesday at Green Lake, where he was pulled from the water after a passerby spotted him.

According to the Seattle Fire Department, the man was found shortly before 8 a.m. face down in two to three feet of water near the Bathhouse Theater. Medics performed CPR, but were unable to revive him and he died at the scene.

Fire officials say the man may have had a heart attack and fallen into the lake.
