There was an actual traffic jam in the parking lot of The Village at Maple Leaf on Saturday around noon at the new Burger & Shake. And the line into the restaurant at 800 Lake City Way N.E. was out the door during the entire time we were there.
Probably helps that today’s the nicest day in a week or more.

I walked up and had a burger today. Good, but not great. Not a fan of the wrinkle cut fries; they looked and tasted like something from a high-school cafeteria. Burgers were nice sized and good tasting. Not the best burger in town, but I’m definitely happy to have iburger among my options in walking distance. I’ll likely go back.
It was packed last night, too! (And the weather was dreadful.) Glad to see it doing so well. My husband and son said the burgers were terrific.
