A purse snatching in Maple Leaf last month has now been linked to a series of stun gun attacks across North Seattle. Although the victim wasn’t stunned in the Maple Leaf case, police believe the robbers are part of the same group that’s been terrorizing women over the past few weeks.

In addition to the Maple Leaf case, the group targeted women and stole their purses in Greenwood, Ballard, and Fremont and Sand Point.

Today, Seattle Police announced that four people suspected in the attacks have been arrested. Officers tell us that a 17-year-old girl and 22-year-old man were arrested in the 13400 block of Greenwood Avenue North on May 28th. This morning a 21-year-old female was arrested in the 13700 block of 32nd Avenue Northeast and is currently being questioned. A 25-year-old female is currently being taken to police headquarters from Burien, where she was just arrested.
