There’s a little bit for everybody this weekend in North Seattle, from learning some stories about the stars overhead to even rubbing shoulders with the mayor.
- Award-winning journalist Ingrid Nixon starts off the weekend with her all-ages “Stories in the Stars,” from 8-9 tonight at Haller Lake Community Club, 12579 Densmore Ave. N. - Greenwood-Phinney’s Art Up Artwalk also is tonight, as highlighted in our partner blog PhinneyWood. The monthly event takes place from 6-9.
- On Saturday, Mayor Mike McGinn will take a tour of nearby Lake City from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Lake City Live blog has a detailed list of where he’ll be stopping during his visit if you’d like to pop by and discuss your thoughts and concerns.
- You’re also invited to Celebrate Urban Naturefrom 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Magnuson Community Center, 7110 62nd Ave. N.E.
