Return of the Scout Christmas tree lot – plus snow coming!

The Boy Scout Christmas tree sale – a fixture in Maple Leaf for decades – will be open a week from Saturday in a new location.
This email from the Scoutmaster:

Boy Scout Troop 151 annual fund raising Tree Lot has found a home for the 2015 season.

The new location will be at St. Catherine’s Church, in the back parking lot off Roosevelt Way Northeast and Northeast 85th Street.

Boy Scout Troop 151 has been selling Christmas Trees in the Maple Leaf Neighborhood since 1934.

The past 30 years have been at Safeway on Northeast 75th Street and Roosevelt. This year we are moving to St. Catherine’s Church.

We are open daily from November 28th until December 22nd. We will have a large selection of Noble Firs, Grand Firs, White Pine,  Spruce, and sheared Douglas Fir Christmas Trees. We also have handmade Garland and Wreaths. Our Christmas

Trees are grown and fresh cut during the season in Shelton, Washington by Hunter Farms.

We are open:

Saturdays 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Sundays 9:00 a/m. – 7:00 p.m.

Monday – Fridays 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

We would like to thank Maple Leaf Life, St. Catherine’s Church and all our neighbors for their support over the past 81 years.

Speaking of holidays, there’s a chance of a white Thanksgiving. From the forecast:
