Chad emails:

Our cat Mo got out of our house near 8th ave NE and NE 103rd St on Thursday night and we have not seen him since. He is a white cat with some black markings. He does not have a collar but is chipped. We would greatly appreciate any information that could help us get Mo home safe.

  1. Mo came home last night at 3 AM! Was hungry but otherwise seemed like he had enjoyed his journey. Thank you to Maple Leaf Life for posting and Terry for your feedback.

  2. You’re welcome, Chad. Passed another one of your signs, at the southwest corner of NE 95th Street and 8th Avenue NE, on my way home after taking the bus from the Northgate QFC; put it back in place and bore down on that tape – hard. I don’t think it’s vandalism, but not certain.

Even thought duct tapes has been called “200 mph tape” by folks who’ve used it on their hot rods at the Bonneville Salt Flats, that’s in August during Utah. You might try electrical tape – lots of it – and maybe thumbtacks.

Mo is a good-looking cat. Hope we can get him home, in the near future.

  3. Thanks for the comment Terry. We will have to up our flyer game. My number is 206-403-8847. A little more detail on Mo: he is all white, with some black/tabby markings on his head and tail.

  4. Chad,
saw one of your flyers, lying at the bottom of a telephone pole off the intersection of NE 98th Street and 8th Avenue NE; did my best to slap it back on that pole, and get the duct tape to adhere.

That said, I’d strongly suggest put some contact information here, for those folks who don’t see your flyers (or that one, which may come off the pole again). In the meantime, I’ll keep on the lookout for Mo.
