Hello, Maple Leaf Life! I was walking at the park this morning (hadn’t been there in a while) and noticed several construction projects. I tried to search the blog for info on what is going on but couldn’t find anything. If you’ve already reported on it, would you point me to the post(s) with details? Here’s my blog post.
Most of the construction at the park is related to re-constructing the underground reservoir to the proper earthquake standards. That will take about 10 months.
Crews are also replacing a communications shack on the park’s west side, beneath the antenna tower.
Tina, who blogs about sketching at Fueled by Clouds & Coffee, goes on to say:
I actually have a ton of sketches from the Maple Leaf neighborhood, but I don’t consider this far north to be part of Ravenna or Roosevelt, so I haven’t been putting them in that Flickr group. If I started a Maple Leaf Flickr group for images, do you think there would be interest?
Seems like there would be. ??
