Real Property Associates today officially moved into 7500 Roosevelt Way N.E.

Today marks the beginning of a new era for the intersection where Roosevelt Way and Lake City Way intersect with Northeast 75th Street.

In a prime location that brings traffic from well beyond Maple Leaf’s borders, the former eyesore at 7500 Roosevelt Way N.E. is now the home of Real Property Associates.

Just two years ago, we spoke with RPA co-owner Jay Young, who said the company had hopes to move into the space but still was waiting to see what would happen with the economy.

Let’s take their opening today as a sign that things are moving in the right direction!

In another sign of good things to come to Maple Leaf, the space vacated when Bead World purchased its building and moved into an even bigger neighboring space also has a new tenant.

According to its website, Espresso Repair Experts opened Feb. 1 at 9522 Roosevelt Way N.E. We’ll try to learn more about the business in the days to come, so please stay tuned!

  1. I used Seattle Expresso Repair twice (for 2 different machines) when they were on Northgate. They’re fast, polite, and helpful. I’d recommend them highly over 2 other repair places that I’ve been to previously.

  2. @Ken’s comments. Our building in the heart of the neighborhood is a complete dump and the new landlord jacked the rent on everyone by $75 to $100. Way to strongarm your tenants out of affordable but deplorable housing. There is no such thing as a decent landlord. I’d rather cozy up to a lawyer.

  3. I’ve never done business with the Espresso Repair place, but note that it’s an established firm, relocating from the building on Northgate Way that’s to be torn down – also resulting in the slight relocation of Masala Indian Cuisine, and affecting other businesses that have been operating there for years.

That would be the upward direction for the rent of all their tenants.

  5. While I like that the building has a tenant, this is one of the most deplorable businesses that has every done business in my life (in fact, for white house kitty-corner to their property from that building where I lived). Their treatment of renters is borderline (probably directly in some many cases) criminal. Read Yelp regarding how they treat renters. I like our local businesses to do well, but do not welcome these guys in to our neighborhood. Hopefully they will improve or leave. http://www.yelp.com/biz/real-property-associates-property-management-seattle.
