Northgate Community Center, 10510 Fifth Ave. N.E., is celebrating its fourth birthday tonight with a party that the entire community is invited to.
Soultronic will perform at Northgate Community Center’s birthday bash.
There’ll be fun for all ages starting at 6 p.m., including bouncy toys, a balloon artist and craft tables for the kids, plus music from 6:30-8:30 p.m. by Soultronic to kick off the Summer Concerts on the Lawn series. There also will be breakdancing performances and demonstrations.
Patty Maxwell, coordinator of the community center, said teens will be selling hot dogs, chips and lemonade as a fundraiser for the teen program, and there also will be birthday cake to top off the night.
The Summer Concerts on the Lawn series will continue through August, with performances every Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The lineup is as follows:
- July 22: Jack Cook and The Phantoms of Soul
- July 29: Psychic Soulmate Specialists
- Aug. 5: Folk Voice Band
- Aug. 12: Bonnie Birch Band
- Aug. 19: Black Math Quartet
- Aug. 26: Zael Zura
