After an early morning phone call about a man allegedly threatening to commit suicide, Seattle Police shut down College Way North outside North Seattle Community College while they searched a house.

The man was believed to have access to weapons, but officers eventually determined he was not in the house, which is only a few hundred yards from the police North Precinct. The neighborhood was not evacuated.

The street was reopened about 10:30 a.m., police report.

Thanks, Silver and Ray, for the tips, and Ray for the photo.
