North Seattle meeting on city budget

As the city faces a $50 million budget shortfall, the city council and Mayor Mike McGinn will hold a hearing on what should be cut next Tuesday night in North Seattle

To speak at the hearing, at North Seattle Community College, get there to sign in by 5 p.m. on May 4. The actual hearing lasts from 5:30-7 p.m. in the cafeteria.

The college is at 9600 College Way North, just the other side of Interstate 5 from Northgate Mall. Use the south entrance on Northeast 95th Street.
