If you missed last month’s meeting about developing the Northgate Station Area Development site, all the information from that open house now can be seen online.
Would you like to see residential high rises (left) or low rises (right) with retail on the bottom around the new Northgate Light Rail Station? Take the online survey.
The Seattle Department of Planning and Development has added the PDF files of the presentation boards that were located around the meeting room at Aljoya Place, and of the slides from the department’s presentation at the start of the open house.
Although meeting attendees made their own notes about what they liked and didn’t like directly on the presentation boards, via the same site you also have an opportunity to comment on what kind of development you would like see for the future Northgate Light Rail Station, which is slated to open in 2020.
I vote low rises with retail. I don’t see the opportunity for many other high rise buildings popping up around NG. I think having a couple tall buildings by themselves won’t look that great.
