The FBI today confirmed to our news partners at The Seattle Times that the woman suspected of robbing five banks or credit unions in seven weeks has been arrested.

One of the robberies was at the Alaska USA Federal Credit Union inside the QFC at Roosevelt Way Northeast and Northeast Northgate Way.

There, the “F-Bomb Bandit,” so named for her salty language, handed a teller a note that read: “Give me the (expletive) money,” the FBI told The Times.

We reported Wednesday that the female bandit might have been caught, but the FBI was unable to provide further details until today.

The FBI told The Times that the suspect is a minor. She is believed to have committed robberies here and in Renton (photo above), West Seattle and Kent.
